If you’re in the market for an affordable all-in-one printer the new Epson Stylus SX400 may be worth a closer look. It offers printing, scanning and copying with a price tag under £70. As with all inkjet printers the price is not the full story when it comes to cost of ownership, running cost in terms of terms of the price of printer ink is just as important as the purchase price of the printer itself. Epson SX400 ink cartridges consist of four individual cartridges, one for each of the colour inks which is economical because each cartridge can be changed independently and no ink gets wasted. A set of genuine Epson inks for the SX400 costs around £30 which is about average compared to it competitors OEM inks, but there are cheaper alternatives available in the form of compatible ink cartridges and they cost half the price of the OEM inks. Performance wise the SX400 is impressive on paper but some of its figure doesn’t stack up in the real world. Epson claim that the SX400 is capable of printing 34ppm but this is in draft quality where the standard of print quality is unacceptable bad. Increasing the quality setting to a standard where it is acceptable decreases the speed considerable. Luckily there is something the makes up for this lack of speed and is worth waiting for and that is the output quality which surpasses expectations of a printer in this class. The SX400 also offers scanning facilities which it does thanks to it slim line A4 flatbed which produces great result for a variety of documents and images. The photo copier function which work without the need for a PC also uses the flatbed scanner it producing it copies and it strikes a good balance of speed and quality. In summary the SX400 offer a wide range of features for a very reasonable price.

Designed to be a cheap solution to everyday general printing task the Stylus D92 is the entry level inkjet of the Epson range. Epson D92 ink cartridges consist of four separate inks one for each colour, these makes buying printer cartridges for the D92 much more economical because it means you only have to change the colour that is empty and no ink gets wasted unlike tri-colour mono block cartridges. This doesn’t mean however that the printer ink cartridges are cheap, in fact they cost just as much as the printer itself and they don’t print all that much either. It is a common trick used by printer manufacturers to price a printer as cheap as possible in order to convince you that it’s a bargain and this is not the only trick they try. With the Stylus D92 Epson have bent the true quite a lot on the spec sheet make it seem like it’s a very fast printer but in fact its actually a very slow printer. Epson Claim it’s possible to print 25 pages per minute with the D92 but the best ours could manage was seven pages of text in draft quality which is barley readable. Increasing the print quality setting certainly works in terms of print quality but slows the printer down even more. To print photos the printer really needs to be in the photo quality setting but this results in a 6×4 photo taking over fives minutes to complete. Although there is nothing wrong with the print quality of the D92 the low speed is to hard to ignore and it makes using the D92 a unpleasant experience.

Samsung have offered a number of good value mono laser printers and they hope to do the same with the CLP-300n colour laser printer. Colour lasers are notorious for having expensive printer cartridges which are only economically viable to high volume users. Samsung CLP-300n toner cartridges are cheaper to buy and yield fewer pages than your average Samsung toner cartridges but still give a good average cost per page printing. The black toner cartridge yields 2,000 pages while the each of the colours – cyan, magenta and yellow yields 1,000 pages each. Printing speed for mono documents is impressive for a budget printer at 17ppm but colour print speed is a disappointing 4ppm. This can the fact that the page tray of the CLP-300n holds only 150 sheets of paper maximum makes it not the best printer for doing heavy print runs on a regular basis. The print quality is very good whether printing plain text for high quality artwork graphics, the CLP-300 printing flawlessly on all types of media. The CLP-300n is claimed by Samsung to be the small colour laser printer in the world and seeing in the flesh it not hard to believe it a amazingly compact and will fit on anyone’s desk. Overall, a great little printer with a very little price tag.

Having one of your family members have occur a very deadly decease was my loneliest moments of my life. Besides the burden of thinking that maybe any time your love one will die or suffer the pain and symptoms of the decease. I am praying that all my family individuals will have a healthy life.

This happy family have gone into a tragedy that have changed of visions on life. My father have accumulated a very deadly decease called Lung cancer and he needs a Lung cancer surgery to survive. They have managed some Lung cancer treatment but they are not effective because her decease has gone worst. Thats why our last resort was the surgery and it was suggested by our family doctors.

Seeing my dad having the operation was the most nervous part because we have to see the process through a glass window. The doctors are only saving us from having this communicable decease. The surgery took for twelve hours and it was a success. Now my dad is living a healthy life and he is keeping away from the things that cause this decease. I am so happy that we have passed this tragedy and this came as a lesson to me that life is not certain…

It was only last December, a major threat came to the whole family when my father was diagnosed to have a heart failure.
